2025 Landscape Collection

Welcome to my curated 2025 collection of images. I have went through the past year and re-edited a few photos into the 4 x 5 ratio for a bit of a difference and to offer something new. A fresh perspective of the past year is always something I strive to do as it reminds me of the year I've had and the places I've been to. Now I know that these images are not perfect and I can see a lot of flaws. However I still enjoy sharing an effort and the process with you. The 4 x 5 ratio is an old large film format created around the late 19th century. Artists from before photography had been invented preferred their canvases to be this size liking the aesthetic preference for their paintings. From what I can see in using this ratio in Landscape Photography it really draws you into the scene, offering much more dynamics in the composition by way of using diagonal lines that represent depth with a new energy. I hope I have achieved this with my very quickly selected and edited end of year images! See you in 2026. - Naomi.
